Wattlestone has sold Austpec Pastoral, the groups cattle and agriculture land platform after being approached by institutional investors.
Wattlestone had intended to hold the asset and business for the long term as is the intent with all Investments but was approached by multiple parties to transact on the asset and as such the decision was made to run a process and realise and reinvest the value created into other sectors.
The land was sold to a local Queensland grazier and Austpec Pastoral’s prize winning herd was sold to multiple parties with private equity backed Stone Axe Wagyu acquires the high end Fullblood Wagyu herd.
