After nearly a decade of ownership, Wattlestone has sold Hazelwood Estate, the Northcott Family’s, boutique luxury retreat nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland and neighbouring Lamington National Park.

The tourism project was developed over many years and included 20 guest rooms, day spa, restaurant and significant farming infrastructure. The project, officially launched by Tourism Minister Hinchliffe in September 2021 and operated at near full occupancy since opening its doors attracting both local and international guests along with corporates like Moet Hennessy, Magic Millions, Aston Martin and many others.

Claire Northcott said: “We are proud to have developed a world class tourism asset, opening the door for luxury travellers to experience a truly spectacular part of the Scenic Rim”.

The horse training and farming business will continue to operate.
