Wattlestone is a privately owned investment and holding company based in Brisbane, Australia. It was established in 2015 as a private holding company owned by Andrew Northcott and invests across four key pillars: financial assets, real estate, operating businesses and growth equity.

Our investments- Who founded Wattlestone?
Andrew Northcott, Wattlestone's Founder and Executive Chairman. Born in Adelaide and raised in Brisbane, he began his journey working on a large cattle station north of Julia Creek before starting his first business at university with $800 and a laptop.

Our people- Where does the name Wattlestone come from?
The name reflects Wattlestone's proudly Australian and Queensland home. The Golden Wattle appears on the Australian Coat of Arms and is native to South Australia, the birthplace of generations of the Northcott family. The stone represents the many facets of the family's operations: down to earth, strong, resilient, valuable, evolving over time and enduring.
The Wattlestone name- What are the Wattlestone Business Systems (WBS)?
WBS is Wattlestone's proprietary operating framework, built to turn good businesses into enduring great ones. It brings together disciplined process, financial clarity, cultural alignment and technology as an enabler into a way of working that is practical and repeatable, and it continually evolves as lessons from one business become an uplift for all.
Wattlestone Business Systems- Was Wattlestone previously known by another name?
Yes. The Northcott family's private investment company was known as Austpec Holdings until it rebranded to Wattlestone in December 2020.
