Vecco Group was founded by Tom Northcott in 2012 and has since established an integrated energy platform based on a world class vanadium (and high purity alumina) mining project, leading vanadium electrolyte production and vanadium battery technology.

Vanadium is a base metal used in large scale vanadium flow batteries and the steel production process. High Purity Alumina is used in lithium batteries, LED lighting and many other new technologies.

The Debella Vanadium (& HPA) Mining Project is a high grade, low cost project with Bankable Feasibilities Studies to commence in early 2021 and production in late 2022.

Vecco has recently launched its downstream business to provide 100% renewable energy to the agricultural, mining and industrial sectors using vanadium batteries. Vecco’s vanadium batteries have a warranted life of over 20 years and are completely non-flammable making them ideal for large scale energy storage applications from 80KW to over 100MW.
