Graphinex is developing an integrated graphite mining and battery anode manufacturing business. Wattlestone made the investment in Graphinex, a shovel ready graphite resources company with one of the worlds largest graphite deposits located in Queensland, Australia. The project has a significant high grade shallow resource ready for production in the near future and ready to capture the significant opportunity which exists in the decarbonisation wave.

Graphinex is the 100% owner of the Esmeralda Graphite Project which, as confirmed by historical drilling, has the potential to host Australia’s largest graphite resource. Graphite is most commonly used as the anode material in lithium-ion batteries due to its extremely effective conductor qualities. This use is a key component required for the transition to EV’s.
