The flagship tenement, the Lindfield Vanadium and HPA project covers 295km² in the Julia Creek area of northwestern Queensland, Australia. The tenement lies within the vast Toolebuc Formation, a sedimentary unit covering a large area of Queensland. This formation is recognised as one of the largest vanadium deposits in the world.
Critical Minerals Group is a 100% owner of the Lindfield Vanadium Exploration Project, Figtree Creek Project, Lorena Surrounds Project, Whinmoor Project, Lara Downs Project Application and the Lindfield North Project Application.
The Lindfield Project (EPM 27872) is located approximately 30Km’s North-East of Julia Creek township in the north-western area of Queensland in the Eromanga Basin, as shown in Figure: 1. Julia Creek is a regional town situated 655 km by road to the West of Townsville and 255 km East of the mining town of Mt Isa.
As one of the upcoming Vanadium mines Australia wide, the Lindfield Project is intersected by the main infrastructure corridor of the Flinders Highway and the Great Northern Railway line and all essential services and facilities.
The Figtree Creek project is a 70km² tenement in northwest Queensland located near the town of Cloncurry.
The project has several Rock Chip samples, Soil samples and Stream Sediment samples showing anomalous Copper and Gold assays and is located directly south of the Great Australian Mine and has a historical Mining Lease within the tenement. The project also indicates magnetic anomalies, with an anomaly in the south similar to that of the Great Australian Mine.
