Wattlestone-owned Travellers Group Acquires the Olde Maritime, Warrnambool

Wattlestone is pleased to announce that Travellers Group, our regional accommodation platform, has acquired the Olde Maritime in Warrnambool, Victoria. It is the group’s sixth property and its first in Victoria.

Located on the corner of Merri and Banyan Streets in the heart of Warrnambool, the Olde Maritime sits directly opposite Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and a short walk from the beach, Lake Pertobe and the town centre. The property offers 43 rooms, ranging from standard motel rooms and premium queens to deluxe king suites, family mezzanines and fully self-contained two-bedroom apartments. It is also home to the Clovelly Restaurant & Bar, along with function facilities and a gym, and caters to corporate, government and leisure guests.

Warrnambool is the largest regional centre on Victoria’s south-west coast and the western gateway to the Great Ocean Road. Its mix of health, education, agriculture and tourism activity supports demand across the full week, which fits the profile Travellers targets: regionally important towns with resilient corporate and leisure demand. The transaction was sourced off-market.
